The idea for this project was to cover a topic that I had experienced myself. Initially, I wanted to make an experience that reflected the daily struggles of a delivery driver as I had previously was employed as one. But I decided to dig deeper and decided to tackle mental health as the topic of my game. This is something I have struggled with and still struggle with to this day. The game reflects this depressive mental state in which your thoughts are filled with negative statements. Negative thoughts that cloud your mind and keep you from thinking about anything else. There is no clear ending to the game as I thought the idea of having the player in a infinite cycle would help convey how tough it can be for someone to break out of this cycle. The goal for this project was to create a game that would help people understand how difficult it can be for someone who struggles with their mental health.
